Define a Problem
We made a Ghant chart so that we could plan out our time management during the project. The responsibilities were split so that everyone is participating and doing their part to get the project done.

We researched a YouTube video on how to make a survival water filter to see what materials were used. We liked how they used a lot of charcoal because charcoal is a very good natural purifier.

Develop a Solution
Construct and Test Prototype/Evaluate Solution
The charcoal as well as the mesh worked the best. The sponge helped to purify the water as well. Our design was tweaked slightly in each of the different tests to help with turbidity. Our revisions for each test are above.
Present Solution
Our best turbidity was 11.8 NTU
Reflection
I enjoyed this project because I liked how we did a lot of testing and revising to our designs to make it better. I worked with my teammate very well, for our workload was split pretty evenly. I learned that charcoal and mesh are very good purifiers. The project does not need to be revised in my opinion for next years students. It was easy to understand and fun to do.
