Possible Problems
- Kids don’t use eye protective equipment when setting up Biology and Biomedical Science labs. The students use whats called a ring stand to attach beakers and such to do the labs. This ring stand is a metal rod on top of a black base. There is a fear that a student will go to bend down to pick up something or etc. and impale their eye. Possible solutions include a product that attaches to the top of the ring stand that prevents the eye from being impaled.
- Restaurants have a problem keeping fruit from spoiling at their bars. Restaurants use slices of fruit to put in cocktails and other drinks. The fruit is not staying cold because there is not enough storage to put them. Possible solutions include a small cooler powered by electricity.
- People use small squeegees to clean water off of their glass shower. People don’t have time to sit there and do it because the squeegee is so small. Possible solutions include a squeegee where the rubber can expand and retract/
- Teachers who have animals in their rooms need ways to allow the animal to absorb the rain in the tanks they reside in. Possible solutions can include a timed sprinkler that will rain on the reptiles.
- Some people have a fear of public speaking, there should be a solution to overcome this.
- Most people do not floss, and this is because it is annoying and tedious, what if there was a way to make flossing easy and less Tim consuming.

Individual Summary
We were able to accomplish many things that were needed to get started on our project. We found the problem we wanted to solve and then we were able to justify it. Then we we surveyed the potential market for people who also want this problem to be solved. This led us to come up with our problem statement. Now we have the basic foundation for our project, and we will be able to begin researching possible solutions to our problem that we identified.
